Bio

Taralee Guild (1984-present) lives and works in Vancouver, BC and is originally from Thunder Bay, Ontario. She is currently completing her BFA in Visual Arts at the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design, majoring in Painting. Her work is influenced by the work of: Steadman, Dali, Neel, Shiele, Escher and Crumb. Ideas around urban decay, perspective distortion and the figure reoccur in Taralee’s work. Currently, she is developing a series involving contorted war machinery.
